My story
Being unemployed and having a family can be a very difficult situation, and many people have experienced this or are experiencing it now. I am one of those people. My wife is ill, and is not able to work other than to try and make money using the internet, which so far has not worked out. I have been rejected from the jobs i have applied to for the last 8 months, and herein lies the problem. Our power bill has not been fully paid in almost a year, now totaling a large sum we will never be able to pay. On top of that we have a child in school. Rejected from social assistance, rejected from any loans or financial help. And now looking at disconnecton of our power on May 2nd, with no hope of a solution.
This is why i have created the 5 dollar plea.
What is the 5 dollar plea?
If you are reading this and you can sympathize, don't want to see a family in need lose their electrical service, and feel you can help, then I am asking you to spare 5 $ and send it to horatiodemonia@yahoo.com through http://www.paypal.com . That's it. I am not asking anyone to give me thoursands of dollars or do anything other than donate 5$ to my paypal. It adds up quickly, and with proof that I have the money on the way to my bank account, the power company should (hopefully) give me the 48 hours a paypal cashout would take.
I have set up an email, 5dollarplea@gmail.com, and if you have any questions or concerns before donating i would be happy to privide real life information of any kind, links or screenshots of my power account, anything you would like to know.
I have made this blog and sent my plea out via twitter hoping to reach a large enough audience in a very small window of time. If you can find it in your hearts to help, you will have my family's gratitude forever. Thank you,
